Roman-style bust facing to left; Name of the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225) around. Rev. In a square, ‘malik al-umarā / Abū Bakr ibn / Qarā Arslān’ (‘King of the rulers, Abu Bakr, son of Qara Arslan’ in Arabic’; traces of the date in the outer margin within a dotted circle. Album 1825.3. Extremely rare. Weak strike and some earthen deposits, otherwise, good fine.
